Community Announcements: 

Eid al Adha 1439 AH
Pending the official announcement, it is likely that Eid al Adha will be on Wednesday, August 22nd. Eid Prayers will be held at Imam Ali Masjid at 10 AM sharp. Further announcements and information will be sent to confirm.

Eid al Ghadeer Celebration 1439 AH
Join us at IAM on Saturday, August 25th at 1 pm to celebrate Eid al Ghadeer. The celebration will include lectures, poetry, a BBQ picnic, as well as outdoor activities for all to enjoy. Further information will be announced in the coming days.

Quran Week: Learn How to Read the Quran
Join us for a five-day workshop from Monday, August 27th to Friday, August 31st on learning how to recite the Holy Quran. Classes will be held every day from 11 am until 3 pm. This course is aimed for all ages and levels and will provide thorough instruction on the basics of Tajweed and recitation. More information will be provided shortly.

Muharram 1440 AH
Pending the sighting of the moon, Muharram Programs are to be held at Imam Ali Masjid from September 12th until September 22nd every night starting at 7 pm. We are honored to announce that we will be joined by Sayed Mohammadhassan Alsheraa from Dearborn, Michigan for lectures in English and by Sheikh Ahmad Ameeni for lectures in Arabic and Farsi. More information will be sent out accordingly.

If anyone from the community is interested in a particular lecture topic in the languages of Arabic or Farsi, suggestions will be taken into consideration until Friday, August 10th. Please send topic suggestions to admin@imamalimasjid.com accordingly.

Muharram Blood Drive 
Imam Ali Masjid will be hosting its second annual blood drive in honor of ImamHusayn this upcoming Muharram on Sunday, October 14th from 10 am – 3 pm.  We are informing the community this far in advance due to the restrictions on donations being limited to those who have not donated 56 days prior to the day of the drive.
