The Moon-Sighting Committee in the Council of Shia Muslim Scholars of North America announces that Wednesday, March 29th, 2017 will be the first day of the month of Rajab 1438AH for all regions falling under the arc starting from New York City, and passing through Toronto, Winnipeg, Saskatoon, Edmonton, proceeding to the West Coast. For all other regions outside of this arc, the first of Rajab will be on Thursday March 30th.
Please join us on Sunday, March 19th as we commemorate the Birth of Sayyida Fatima (SA) and Nowroz. The program will begin at 1pm with prayers and include an English lecture by Sayyid Atiqullah Ebady. A short presentation will also be given on the Islamic Classes available at IAM.
