The Moon-Sighting Committee in the Council of Shia Muslim Scholars of North America announces that Friday, April 28th, 2017 will be the first day of the month of Sha’ban 1438AH for the entire region of North America.

1) Please join us this Saturday, April 15th to celebrate the birth of Imam Ali (AS). The program will begin at 7pm.
2) The Thursday programs will now begin at 7pm with Dua Kumayl. It will include a short Quran study session after the prayers have been completed.
3) A reminder to all students and staff that the last day of Sunday School classes for the 2016-2017 school year will be held on May 21st.
4) The Al-Noor Tri-State Area Annual Quran Competition will be held on Wednesday, May 24th and is seeking participants of all ages in the memorization of Surah Ya-Seen.
