Eid al Fitr 1446 | 2025

Eid Al-Fitr Prayer

The Moon-Sighting Committee of the Council of Shia Muslim Scholars of North America announces that Monday, March 31st, 2025, will be the first day of the Shawwal, 1446 A.H. for the entire region of North America.

This determination is based on the fact that there were no verified sightings of the crescent moon by the naked eye at sunset on Saturday, March 29th, 2025, in any region of North America. Therefore, Sunday, March 30th, 2025, will be the last day of the Holy Month of Ramadan, 1446 A.H.

Eid Mubarak! We ask God, the Most High, to accept your fasting, grant success in performing good deeds, and to hasten the Return of Our Master, Imam Mahdi (p).

EID PRAYERS WILL BE HELD AT IMAM ALI MASJID ON MONDAY, MARCH 31ST AT 9:30 AM SHARP.

Ramadhan Quran Competition

To take advantage of this blessed month in which the Holy Quran was revealed, join us at Imam Ali Masjid for a Ramadhan Quran Competition open to all on Friday, March 28th at the masjid during the nightly program.

There are different groups based on age with a specific surah assigned to each group. Participants are welcome to register within their age group or a group above if they wish.
