It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Marhooma Bibi Hajia Tahira Yousuf, beloved mother, sister, and aunt. The Janaza will be on Saturday, November 9th at Mohammadia Islamic Center at 12pm, followed by burial at Rosedale and Rosehill Cemetery.

The fatiha will be on Saturday, November 9th from 3pm to 5pm at Mohammadia Islamic Center.

The Moon-Sighting Committee in the Council of Shia Muslim Scholars of North America announces that Wednesday, October 30th, 2019 will be the first day of the month of Rabi al-Awwal 1441AH for the entire region of North America.

Join us on Sunday, October 27th at 4pm to commemorate the martyrdom of the Holy Prophet (SAW) and Imam Hasan (AS), and the 40th of Marhoom Ayatullah Sajidi. The program will include recitation of Quran by Sayyid Roohullah Wahidi, English lecture by Sayyid Atiq Ebady, and Farsi lecture by Ayatullah Sakhawat Hussain, and conclude with prayers and dinner. Arbaeen Blood Drive: Imam Ali Masjid will be hosting its third annual blood drive in honor of Imam Husayn (AS) on Monday, October 21st from 3 pm- 8 pm. This event is open to the public and all are encouraged to attend and donate.
