Imam Ali Masjid is collaborating with the Zahra Trust to collect winter coats for the less fortunate in New York City during the winter season. Collections will continue until November 15th. Please bring donations to the masjid during the designated times (see flyer) or get in contact to set up a separate drop-off appointment. 
Fatiha for Marhooma Umm Abu Amjad Al Asadi
It is with sadness that we must announce the passing of Marhooma Umm Abu Amjad Al Asadi. She was the mother of Abu Amjad Al-Asadi, Abu Yasser Al-Asadi, Imam Hussein’s servant Mula Abu Zainab Al-Asadi, and Abu Sajjad Al-Asadi.
The Fatiha will be on Saturday, October 14th at 5 p.m. at Imam Ali Masjid. Brothers and sisters are requested to join the family of the deceased in consolation.

Birth Anniversaries of The Holy Prophet (SAW) & Imam Sadiq (AS)
Join us on Sunday, October 1st at 2PM to celebrate the birth anniversaries of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and Imam Jafar Sadiq (AS). The program will include presentations by our Sunday School students, followed by poetry, activities, and a picnic outside. 
Martyrdom of Prophet Muhammad (SAW) & Imam Hassan (AS)
Join us on Thursday, September 14th at 7:30 pm to commemorate the 48th day of Imam Hussain’s martyrdom and the return of the Alam, as well as the martyrdom of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (SAW) and Imam Hassan (AS). The program will begin with Maghrib and Isha prayers, followed by a lecture by Sheikh Ameeni.
Arbaeen 1445 Program
Join us for a two-day program to commemorate the Arbaeen of Imam Hussain (AS). On Wednesday, September 6th at 7:30pm, we will have the Arbaeen program with English lecture by Sayed Ahmed Qazwini, as well as Arabic/Farsi with Sheikh Ameeni. On Thursday, September 7th at 7:30pm, we will have an English lecture with Sayed Ahmed Qazwini (no Arabic/Farsi lecture). All are encouraged to participate and join. May Allah bless you all.
