It is with sadness that we must announce the the passing of Marhoom Haji Anwar Aslami.  The program will begin Tuesday, May 10th at 1PM in the Mohammadia Islamic Center, followed by a funeral procession to the Laurel Grove Cemetery where he will be buried.  The Fatiha will also take place tomorrow from 3pm-5pm at Mohammadia.

Haji Anwar was the brother-in-law of sister Danish Nassiry Talebi

The Moon-Sighting Committee in the Council of Shia Muslim Scholars of North America announces that Sunday, May 8, 2016 will be the first day of the month of Sha’ban 1437 for the entire region of North America.

Please join us this Thursday as we commemorate Yawm al-Mab’ath (Day of Appointment for the Prophet Muhammad (SAW)) and the Mi’raj of the Prophet (Ascension).  The program will begin at 8PM with Dua Kumayl.
